Dr Sam James - "Impressions of sustainability in the Philippines"
Sam James is an Associate Professor of Biology at Maharishi University of Management, and a specialist in the biodiversity of earthworms. He received his Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College in 1975 and his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan
in 1983. His research has taken him to several South and Central American countries, most of the Caribbean, Fiji, the Philippines, Thailand and China. He also farms 200 acres organically near Fairfield, Iowa, and has had a life-long interest in creating
societies that work in harmony with nature.
