Steve McLaskey - "Vedic Agriculture"

“I grew up on a farm in Illinois, where my father was always the first farmer in the area to adopt conservation practices such as contour plowing. The extension agents would bring other farmers to our farm to show them how to do it. I must have inherited my father’s sense of conservation and caring for the land. Now I try to pass on that commitment to stewardship of the earth to my students and co-workers through my teaching and my work with Maharishi World Peace Vedic Organic agriculture projects” says Steve. He has been Assistant Professor of Agriculture at Maharishi University of Management since 1997 and has also been Director of Maharishi World Peace Vedic Organic agriculture project in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri since 2002.
